This itinerary gives you more chances to experience the big games such as predators hunting in their bush environment. How predators get their prey it is indeed more fascinating than you think, but for predators, this has been their daily way of life and they must do everything possible to get their food. Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
On arrival into the country, DOVE DELIGHT TOURS representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International airport. After greetings and welcoming procedures, your guide will drive you to a reputable hotel in Arusha city for dinner and overnight. Welcome to an unforgettable land, the “Geneva of Africa”.Make sure to relax, and get a good night’s rest in preparation for your ultimate life time safari within the next few days.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
On day 2, after breakfast and briefing, you depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is known for its majestic long-life baobab trees, largest herds of Elephants, and tree-climbing Pythons. After 2 hours’ of successful drive we’ll arriveTarangire main gate, and the game drive commences as soon as entry procedures are completed. The park has well-designated picnic areas where you can enjoy your picnic lunch in communion with nature.
After a lunch break, you will proceed with another game drive until evening. During the game drive you get to see animals including Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Lesser Kudu, Buffalos, Oryx, Elands, Giraffes, Zebras, and many bird species. The presence of the Tarangire River supports a huge number of animals especially during the dry season as it is the main source of water.
After the game drive your guide will take you to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the lodge for the journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Set on Rift Valley Escarpment the park is the most adorable and Scenic park on the planet. Famous for its tree climbing Lions, the park has left scientists with a long and unfinished debate; how is it possible for a King of the Jungle to climb over the tree branches? If you are lucky enough you will have the chance to witness this rare behaviour during the game drive.
The Park is also famous for its soda ashy lake which hosts many species of Migratory birds including the Lesser flamingo, Pied avocet, Pied Kingfisher, Pink-backed pelican, and more. In the afternoon you will enjoy your lunch very close to Lake Manyara where you will listen to the attractive vocals of birds.
After the lunch break, you will proceed with the game drive until evening. The guide will take you to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Today you will take an early breakfast and get ready for an exploration of Serengeti National park. The park is famous for the annual movement of the great migration animals including the wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, and Impalas. Serengeti has the best-designated picnic sites where you will enjoy your lunch in the park. After lunch, you will go for a half-day game drive and the opportunity to explore big games amongst which are predators. In the evening, your guide will drive you to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
The next day after breakfast (day 5), you will have a full-day game drive to explore the endless plains to their fullest. Depending solely on the season of the year, you might see the migration herds. Other animals that you may see during the game drive are lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and many bird species.
After the game drives your guide will take you to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Full Day Game Drive at Central Serengeti
Today will be an awesome day! ready after your early breakfast you will have the chance to explore Central Serengeti to its fullest . The central part of Serengeti also known as Seronera is full of water sources and plain grass with enough nutrients, hence the majority of grazers like to stay around this area searching for pastures. The concentration of animals in this area attracts many predators roaming around to capture the prey, and if you are lucky, you will get to see the big games.
During the dry season (from June to October), many animals congregate in the Seronera area due to the lack of water in other parts of Serengeti Plains. Hence during these months, you may explore many resident herbivores such as Impalas, Buffalos, Hippos, Warthogs, Topis, Hartebeests and Giraffes as well as resident carnivores such as lions and leopards.
In the evening, your guide will drive you back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, a journey to Ngorongoro Crater commences, you might stop at Olduvai Gorge before descending to the Crater. There you will get a full history of how the anthropologists Dr. Leakey and Mary Leakey discovered the skull of the ‘Nutcracker Man’ which was classified as Zinjanthropus. Then later you will proceed with the journey and descend into the magnificent crater that host the big five animals including Tanzania’s rare remaining black rhinos, Leopards, Lions, Elephants, and Buffalos.
Supported by a year-round water supply and enough grazing Land, the crater host other variety of wildlife animals including herds of Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Warthog, Hyenas, Jackals, and Cheetahs. You will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor around the afternoon, then proceed with the game drive until evening.
After the game drives, your guide will take you to a Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Karatu to Arusha
Congratulations on completing this circuit with the best memories and great adventures. Today is an awesome day to say goodbye to all service providers who put in their best to ensure you had a memorable experience. After breakfast the journey to Arusha city begins, and depending on your departure flight schedule, you might have a chance to explore a lot of en-route attractions before getting to Arusha, where later you will be escorted to the Airport.
